I'm

Hi, I’m Syk. A web developer with an interest in everything ever! I love reading science, watching British history documentaries, adding crispy onions to everthing I cook, and telling my long-suffering friends elaborate stories about mundane events.
I love learning, understanding the world, and - despite all the injustice - I still believe we are living in the best human era and I want to contribute to making it better.

Music is an essential part of my identity. I'm a non-professional musician, I have played in bands and recorded music. I love guitar, music production, the eccentric and the unexpected
10 years as an English teacher in Spain, 8 of them specialised with kids. Teaching has been a fulfilling and challenging career, and working with kids a constant wonder
With a passion for learning and infinite curiosity I have found in programming a world of endless possibilities and excitement. I've always been interested in programming, so I decided there isn't a single reason why I shouldn't be doing it myself.
From selling incense sticks on the war-torn streets of Beirut to support my family, to working 12-hour shifts in North Yorkshire factories to support my university studies. I Know hard work and making your own path with your own effort and determination.
I'm a positive person, I love cheese and science, and I strongly dislike straight lines and cows.
